Hello Brothers and Sisters!

Heck of a weekend. Thursday night it was great to be back at The Inn again. We missed you guys last week and had a great gig. Thanks for coming out and keeping us smiling and happy! Friday night we were at The Brazen Fox in White Plains, NY for our second performance at one of our favorite new places. Rumor has it that town slows down during the summer, but we got lucky. WOW. What a crowd, and what a response. Saturday was our second show of the summer at The Sea Shell in Beach Haven, NJ. We know what to expect from the Shell by now and we got it, and that is a VERY good thing.

Some of you might remember September of last year. The whole month. Some of you might remember, specifically, at The Colorado Cafe when I messed up my ankle on stage. Like most things in life, if they are worth doing they are worth doing well, and I messed it up GOOD. Well, this past Friday I was walking down my front steps towards Hezekiah’s car and I stepped off the steps and right on to the edge of where the walkway meets the grass and SNAP BOOM. Down I went. The other ankle this time, just as bad (if not worse) than September which STILL feels screwy. WAAAAAH. Some of you good folks at our Friday night shows got to offer advice, best wishes, and in once case gin and ginger ale and they all helped. At least now I am evened out, yeah? Once again, since some people are squeamish about feet I don’t want to shove mine in your face, but if you want to see my foot in all of its Technicolor wonder, click the following link and you’ll see my foot back in September (the left one) and my right foot (on the right) as it stands today (pun intended). Click here.

For the first time in my life, I played two shows sitting down. Not entirely, but for a good portion of the shows on Friday and Saturday I was sitting on a bar stool. I still tried my best to rock out, but considering how long it’s been and that my left foot is still causing problems, I want to make sure I do the right thing with the right foot. Man, puns abound, eh? Got a doctor’s appointment tomorrow to see what the damage is. If you see me sitting down on the job this weekend... you know why.

There’s a video or two of us on that YouTube place, like this one of us doing Baby Got Back at Dexter’s in Riverdale, NJ (courtesy of LadyAce.com). If you have seen us, well, you know what this is all about. If not, “get your learn on!”

So, enough of my whining. This weekend we are back at The Inn in Long Beach, NY on Thursday. Friday we are at The Borgata Gypsy Bar in Atlantic City, NJ for an early 7 PM show, then Saturday we are at the one and only Tiki Stadium in Keansburg, NJ! We WERE slated to play The Colorado Cafe on Friday but now are at The Borgata Gypsy Bar instead. I just said that, right? Anyway, sorry to our friends looking forward to seeing us at the Colorado.... we’ll be back there in the fall. Check our schedule here.

                  Hugs and kisses,
                  Brother Eazy Ezekiel
